Team Investigation

The team arrived at the Hall around 10pm and set up our equipment ready for the nights investigation. As usual we sat down for a coffee and a chat before taking Temperature readings. While we were sitting in the hall we all heard footsteps in the corridor and bangs coming from the Kitchen, it looked like we were in for a good night. At 11.15pm a very loud knock came from the corridor, then tapping noises all along the wall in the Hall, the tapping seemed to go all around the Hall getting louder and louder. At the same time the temperature dropped from 15oC down to 5oC.

At Midnight we decided to carry out a séance in the Hall, after 10 minutes of asking questions we heard more footsteps in the corridor and they seemed to be moving towards the Hall where we were sitting, also tapping noises along the walls which seemed to go on forever. With the noise of the traffic outside we decided to stop the séance and go down to Preston Old Jail Bridge and Preston Old Parish Church.

Conclusion

All in all it was a great night, one of the best places we have been to with lots of Paranormal activity.

We are going back next year as we feel there is much more than we got on the night.

When we got back we noticed that the heating had been switched on and it was not on a timer, it was definitely switched off when we left.

At 2am we split into 2 groups, one in the Hall and the other in the Kitchen facing the corridor. Chris, Louise and Rhianne were in the Hall, pretty soon they started hearing more footsteps, but these were in the Hall and it was as though someone was running around the room, suddenly they stopped and the room became very cold and both Chris and Louise could see a figure standing in the doorway. They asked questions to determine who this figure was and Chris got the name William, but no more activity occurred in the Hall. After about half an hour both groups heard what sounded like static coming from the corridor, it was almost like it was coming from a TV, it was very loud and unusual which freaked everybody as we had no idea what it could have been. Soon the groups swapped places, while Chris, Louise and Rhianne were in the Kitchen they could not take their eyes off the hallway, after asking some questions the strangest thing happened, the doorway lit up an Electric Blue colour and it started to almost pulsate, going from bright to dull. This was something that we have not experienced before and it can not be explained, one thing we do know is that it was not light coming in from outside as all traffic had stopped, remember this was in a tiny village in the middle of the Scottish Borders.
